Can you scan film with audio?
Our scanner is equipped with optical audio readers for both 16mm, 35mm and magnetic audio reader for 16mm. We do not charge extra for audio capture for soundtracks on-film because it’s captured at the same time the film is scanned.
What is a FLAT SCAN?
A FLAT SCAN doesn’t apply any color correction to the image on capture. The resulting picture is washed out looking. The advantage of doing a flat scan is that you you have more flexibility for making precise color choices at a later date using software like DaVinci Resolve.
What is a ONE-LIGHT COLOR FINISH for a film scan?
ONE-LIGHT COLOR FINISH allows for one color setting for the average of the reel.
